Its a Knockout
Outline:
This event is based upon a popular television series where people do the wildest and craziest things to earn the most points. If physical comedy gets you going, you will definitely enjoy yourself in these challenging fun games.
Your group will be split into various teams and compete against each other in a number of wild and wacky tests of skill and luck. You all will start with a simple activity to get the blood flowing, loose and easy to prep you for the fun times ahead. Hope you like party music as this Wild and Wacky Fun event is full of it!
Each game in the Wild and Wacky line-up takes about 5 minutes each. Each team earns points for the games played and at the end of these hilarious match-ups the high scoring teams will be announced and receive medals in addition to celebrating with a bottle of bubbly. Straggling finishers earn a booby prize.
You can expect such Wild and Wacky Fun games as these:
Slide and Glide - Inflatables are fun, especially those you have to climb that are “enhanced” by water and slick suds.
Got Balls? - You get to navigate your way through sudsy, slick bubbles in cool inflatable tunnels to collect as many balls as possible on the other side. The team with the most balls wins.
Gargantuan - Size 50 shoes do not make you very graceful, especially considering they match a giant costume you must wear in a race! You have to race against opponents in a costume at least three sizes bigger and taller than you. It’s not as easy as it sounds!
Tuxedo Shuffle - Penguins always do look dapper in their tuxedo-like appearance so you just might look the same in a resembling costume - or not! You must race other members in your group and collect fish to earn points. The more fish you capture, the sweeter the win.
Breach Castle Walls - Can you breach the walls of a castle with just a catapult, a bucket and sopping wet sponges? Of course you can! Use a catapult to launch sopping wet sponges over the castle walls so they can be caught and squeezed out. The team that collects the most water within a pre-determined time in their bucket wins.
Hop in the Sack - Remember the olden days when you ran and hopped in old-fashioned potato sack races? Well, you can relive that childhood activity. Your team is given a large sack in which to hop in and one person starts and collects team mates on the way to the finish line. The object of the game is to have your entire team finish the race in the sack.
Life-Size Table Football - Table football is a favourite pastime in many pubs but have you considered a life-size version? Your team is attached by a cord to each other in a row and you can only move sideways, just like the tabletop version. You get to kick an inflatable football and try to score.
Race and Spell - Scrabble is a favorite family game where you use your letter tiles to spell words on a game board. In this version of Race and Spell, you get to traverse an obstacle course which includes inflatables and slippery suds. At the end of each obstacle is a Scrabble letter which you must run back to your team mates because the first team to spell out their word completely wins!
Wash and Dry Sports Style - Your team must choose an item of clothing from the wash line and get it to your designated sportsman while negotiating an obstacle course. Of course, you have to do this multiple times until your sportsman is totally dressed in the clothing from the wash line. The sports fanatic who is “dressed” by their team mates must kick a field goal before anyone else does. Oh, was it mentioned that part of the wardrobe includes oversized shoes which will make navigating the obstacle course more challenging?
Last Man Standing - Can you be the last one standing in a duel against an opponent in your group? You and a rival are placed on pedestals and the goal is to knock them off before they do the same to you!
Rubber Run - You and your opponents have a large rubbery cord tied around your waist and a large runway in which to race. It’s inflatable of course! The person who runs the farthest before being bungeed back is the winner!
Body Slam - Let loose a bit with your fellow group mates and wrestle them a bit. Sounds barbaric? Actually, it’s quite fun if you happen to be wearing an oversize padded helmet and body suit!
